Hi, my name is Boris Tušek.

I am a loving father, husband and devoted handmade & unique wooden furniture designer and manufacturer at Googawood.

For me, it’s all about the nature and the wood. Since I live in Slovenia – an idyllic small country, which is 2/3 covered with very rich forest and high-quality woods – I have an endless opportunity to receive my inspiration directly from the nature.

Nature, filled with the beauty and variety of wood, is the best designer and I keep learning from her.

Each type of wood has its own mood, character, function and style. So, selecting the best type of wood, is the first step. Inspired by the woods and nature I start creating, using old natural techniques of wood crafting.

My products are made exclusively of wood, that meets the highest FSC and ECO standards, and the finishes are only natural oils without additives, which keeps wooden pieces as natural as possible.

You can be absolutely sure, that each and every Googawood product, is one-of-a-kind and completely unique. My mission is to create the harmony of the function, style and the wood so you will be able to enjoy the design, touch and the quality of my wooden pieces for many years.
